


Action is smooth, the bore is very good and the wood stocks are very good with blemishes. Rifle retains approximately 70% of its original bright blued finish showing thinning on the barrel and scattered wear from use. Matching serial numbers are found on the receiver, bolt handle, bolt sleeve, safety, cocking piece, bolt release, rear sight, both barrel bands, cleaning rod and floorplate. The receiver ring in stamped “CHILE//ORDEN Y PATRIA/MODELO 1935” and the left side of the buttstock is marked with an ornate Chilean cartouche, boxed “1935” and “CIAE” in a circle. Features a high luster blued finish, 22” barrel, shrouded inverted ‘v’ front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1,400 meters, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, two barrel bands, in-the-white bolt with turned-down handle & three position safety on the rear, rounded trigger, internal 5 round box magazine with removable floorplate, brown leather sling with saddle ring on the rear swivel, smooth wood handguard and semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with metal stock disk & smooth metal buttplate. with small import marks on the barrel near the bayonet lug.
